Parties are just the art of positioning

when you are young and nobody.

I didn’t know what I was

then and I don’t know now.

Certainly not Jesus

nor Jeremiah in his well.

I’m not Monroe

or Reagan.

I’m not

the person

you think.

I’m still

positioning

myself

And I

may never stop.
